Hey Guys,

I was looking on Brownells at the Magna-Tip screwdrivers kit for S&W. I was also looking at their Standard sets and there are three different ones. I was wondering if anyone knows if either of those standard sets encompass the S&W kit bit sizes? Also does anyone have a list of the bit sizes in the Magna-Tip S&W kit?

I would rather have a larger kit since I have other firearms such as my Marlins I would like to have bits for as well.

Any info is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Person

I received the Marlin 336 kit a few weeks ago - the bits are:
120-6
180-3
180-4
300-4
270-3
240-3

It appears that the 3 digit number indicates the width, and the "dash" number indicates the thickness.

I actually found the info I was looking for after playing on Brownells site for a while. The way they have everything organized is a bit odd on the Magna-Tip sets. Here are the links if anyone else is interested:

Gun Specific kits:

GunTech : Gun Specific Magna Tip List - World's Largest Supplier of Firearm Accessories, Gun Parts and Gunsmithing Tools

Super Set Sizes:

BROWNELLS : MAGNA-TIP SUPER SETS - World's Largest Supplier of Firearm Accessories, Gun Parts and Gunsmithing Tools

Standard Sets:

BROWNELLS : MAGNA-TIP STANDARD SETS No. 1, No. 2 & No. 3 - World's Largest Supplier of Firearm Accessories, Gun Parts and Gunsmithing Tools

Thanks anyway.

S&W Kit 080-088-005 includes #150-3, #120-1, and #210-2 bits
There is also another S&W Kit 080-087-004AA with 4 bits, but I don't know for sure what the fourth one is.
There is some indication that it might be a # 210-4
