I finally recieved my Magpul bipod that I'll use on my M&P 10.
It's pretty solid with no external springs and appears to be able to take a substantial load up with forward pressure.
It's not an Atlas, but it's half the price of same.
Has anyone else used this and if so, what are your thoughts on it?

I haven't had my hands on one yet so I can't say anything about them. I know bi-pods like Atlas and GG&G (which is what I have) are in the $200+ range. The MagPul looks like it's more in line with Harris and the Harris clones. Does the MagPul have pan & tilt features?

I just got a Magpul bipod too. I will put it through the paces in a long distance class next week.

At this point I'm happy with it. It's a little taller than I like, but that's only a small issue.

Yes, it has pan and tilt and the tension for both is adjustable. Also, the pan feature can be locked out. I'm not sure why you would want to do that, but it is a feature.

How did your bipod do in your class?
The bipod worked great. No issues with it at all and it felt very stable. I would like it to be about an inch shorter at it's shortest setting.

But, just to drive home the point, here's one of my groups:

I would say you were having a good day!!! That is great grouping at 700.

Thanks for the compliments. It was a good day and I shot several groups like that. Definitely my best ever. I doubt I could repeat it.
