Man I need to stay out of pawn shops!!

i have a s&w9gve and love it, and also ccw a db9, that a diamondback9mm, that is all american made.

That's a good price now. Back before the World's Greatest Gun Salesman was elected, that was pretty close to the street price for a new one.

The only gun I have ever purchased for that much was a new Sigma 9mm.

Glocks actually have a pretty good LEO Sale on their firearms. In my area if you have some kind of credentials you can get any 9mm for $399

I bought my first handgun in November 2008 & it was a Ruger KP90. Had some teething problems but Ruger made it right in short order. Excellent customer service. IMO the P Series are pretty underrated

$300 OTD would be theft in Kalifornistan.

Read the manual. IIRC the P345 magazine safety will destroy the firing pin if dry fired without the magazine. Could be wrong on that. I might be thinking the P97. I'm old & sometimes don't remember things rightly. :(

You will really like it. Just don't do any dry firing unless you have an empty magazine in pistol. Dry fire without the mag. will damage (I think the ejector) and it will not fire. The handle and angle are great, very ergonomic. It conceals well.

I like the Ruger P series. They fit my hand well, and if they ever quit on ya, you could use it as a hammer. I've passed on many P345s in the $450 range, but I would have scooped one up at $300 in a heartbeat.

Well he actually had it priced at $425 but we haggled for a bit and I reminded him of all the times he beat me up on trades and I guess he had a moment of weakness, or a quilty conscience one. At any rate I felt pretty good about it and he was in good mood too so everyone was happy.
