I am in the market for a M&P9C, and I want a thumb safety. These seem to be hard to find, but there are quite a few available W/O the safety. In the past with other M&P's I have found that some of them have the sear blocks and cutouts in the frame for a manual safety, and can be converted, if you have the safety and the detent/spring assy, which I do.

My question, is there anyway to tell from the SKU #'s, or any other method, which models have the above configuration ? When ordering online, you can not be sure what you getting because they use stock photos, and they sure as hell will not look at the pistol and tell you !

Bought one off of Gunbroker from this dealer.

444.00 including shipping, and NO uncharge for credit card use ! Also, ordered and shipped the same day !

PS: Bud's price match is a joke ! Tried it several times, and they would never match the price, the best they would do is discount their M&P9C 10.00.

206304 is the correct SKU for the model with the thumb safety. That also includes 12-round mags and no magazine disconnect safety.

If you are asking about SKUs of M&P *without* the manual safety but have the correct sear housing block to add one, I don't know of any verifiable list.

As noted, the telltale sign is the safety lever filler plug (good). Another is the plugged hole for the internal lock (bad).

Unless you can physically inspect it before transfer, I'd stick to one that includes it from S&W.

Here are my FS and Compact. The safety lever filler plugs are quite evident.
