Mark II and Second Model

So my understanding is that the .455 Mark II Second Model is the same exact gun as the .455 Second Model wether it was sent to Britain or Canada correct? It's just that some call them Mark II second models vs a second model. Correct?

Correct.
.455 Mark II refers to the cartridge in both the 1st and 2nd models. NOTE: All .455 British Svc revolvers were made to also chamber the longer .455 MKI CARTRIDGE.

However in reference to the gun itself, the British also stamped all 2nd models with MKII on the top left side frame near the hammer. That's where the confusion comes from.
