I can't stand "haboob" either. It also drives me nuts when they talk about PHX's "moonsoon" season. Having been in Asia during monsoon season, there is no comparison, not even remotely.....

How is the water situation in Phoenix? I've read that the population has grown so fast that the SW is running out, reservoirs are running dry.
