Have a safe weekend and remember all the fallen riflemen from all our many conflicts around the world.

Never forget their sacrifices for those of us who survive them.

Many thanks and God's Blessings for our troops past and present and their families for the sacrafices to preserve our way of life and freedoms we enjoy!

To everyone please have a safe and festive celebration!

I am proud of all of our men and women in uniform who serve and protect us. I am a Viet Nam Marine, but I am extremely proud of my son-in-law who just retired from the U.S.Army Infantry. God Bless them all and all of our past veterans from all of our wars.

Thank you guys for your service. God bless our troops and especially their families, who sacrifice so much for us.

Thanks to all the many vets here who I am certain know the true meaning of this day. Thank you all for your service to our nation. To those we have lost, I salute you.

Nice. Pete

My 14 year old son will start Jr. JROTC next year and recently informed me he wants to serve "because men in our family do". Insert giant lump in throat.

I'm so proud of him for making the decision; he'll be the 4th generation to answer the call and the first Commissioned Officer in the family. I get the silver dollar!

I miss the military every minute of every day. This is my favorite quote that, I think, explains why:

"A soldier's skill has no market in peace, which is as it should be. His vocation has him marching to the drum. He'll find it hard to stroll to the lyre" -Hemmingway

Lets not forget the families who sacrifice too. And the LEO's and Firefighters out there; there are lots of ways to serve your country and your community.

And all God's children said...Amen.

Thanks to all the service men and women past and present. And let's not forget about law enforcement, fire fighters, and EMTs who when they go to work are putting their lives on the line for us civilians every day. Think about that for a second. Aside from the drive to and from work, my life is not on the line day in and day out. Theirs is. So for whatever little it's worth, thank you.

Thanks to all who served. Also law enforcement and firefighters.
Navy 1961 to 1965.....Pa. State Trooper 1968 to 1999.

I helped celebrate Memorial Day with a large group of friends at Front Sight, taking a 4 day practical rifle course. Can't think of a better way to honor those who have given the ultimate sacrifice. Before starting the day's activities, we hung a flag at the range shelter and had a few minutes of silence. God bless all our fallen comrades.
