I'll be there!!
This will be my first gun show. I am not sure what to expect. I am guessing the local gun shops will have displays. What about firearm manufacturers, do they attend these gun shows with exhibits and new products? I have contacted the promoters and Centennial Hall in Mesa with no reply.

I usually go to the Mesa show..........
Because you get ripped at the Phoenix show with parking and cost to get in. And lets not get started on how crowded it is. I went a couple years ago and there was a guy going through the isles on a segway,can you just picture that. The Mesa show is a little more laid back, And good if you are just looking for odds and ends. If I need grips and clips and stuff. Thats my spot. I'll be there.

You'll enjoy attending gun shows. They are like smorgasboards, except with guns instead of food. Some tips:
1. Dealers charge tax and have you fill out a federal form.
2. Private individuals don't. You still need to prove citizenship in the state before they can legally sell to you. Driver's license is OK.
3. Haggling (sometimes called "negotiating") over price is the norm. Cash is king.
4. Research what you want to buy before buying. Otherwise you can get stung.
5. Don't buy the story. Buy the gun. Inspect it carefully for any obvious defects.
6. Manufacturers don't usually display.
7. Some tables are "display only" for collectors to show what they have. Usually very interesting and instructive.
8. Plan to have fun - and you will.

I WENT THERE
Man is that place crowded. Met a nice guy selling a S&W police auto but ended up buying one like it new today only alittle difference used to new on the 410S if you can find one new. Actually, I bought 2 new ones one to shot and one for the safe to resell later down the road
