I used the one from Ruger about a month ago, not one response, Sent the one from S&W a few days ago and so far got one response from a rep.

I doubt they are listening. You need to send the email, write a LETTER, and MAKE A CALL.

THEN DROP a check to the NRA.

EMails are tabulated for topic.

Snail mail goes to a mail processing center and is check for safety then scanned digitally and sent to staffers.

ONLY CALLS actually interact with staff and get their attention.

SHOW UP AT PUBLIC MEETINGS AND SOUND INTELLIGENT.

Calls and showing up and sending MONEY are the only thing to do!

I'll be sure to look out for the next meeting where they are all together. I'll do some reading up on "Sounding Intelligent for Dummies".

I'll also assume you don't do as we did via the S&W and Ruger sites to reach out. You know seeing as it's a waste of time and all.

Just what makes you think I'm not a NRA member? Could it be because I don't have the NRA seal next to my name? Well you don't either, JACK! Ooops my non intelligent self just came out.


Take your advice and use it on yourself. I didn't ask for pointers on how to make my congressman hear me.

Here in NY only got a response from Chuckie Schumer who ranted on about how he believes in the 2nd Amendment. One liberal Assemblyman wrote back and only mentioned "sensible" background checks and how his psychologist sister told him the mental health problem is real!! Nothing from anyone else and nothing about "listening" to our concerns.

Thank God for Sen. Ball and others upstate, but they are outnumbered by the liberals... The fight goes on here in NY.

My Congressman sent a 'thanks for your letter' letter, but our governor's letter specifically called improved health care as the best solution.
