Happy 46th Birthday to S230941, one of less than 25 documented yoke stamped 29-1s found to date. This particular revolver also has the highest serial number of any of the 29-1s documented so far. It originally shipped 9/26/1962 to Wisler Western Arms Co., San Francisco, CA in the clamshell case shown here. 29-1s are tough to find, but I'm convinced that they are still 'out there' and those of you who own one of these scarce models have a treasure indeed. Enjoy!

Outstanding, Chuck. Thanks for the look.

I did notice this wasn't the one in the classifieds.

No, but the 27-2 was owned by the same old gentleman who bought this 29-1 in 1962. He ordered both just a few months apart he told me whern I bought the guns from him a few years ago. Actually, I may share the wealth so to speak in the near future by offering a few 29-1s that I have that are duplicates. Stay tuned.

Duplicate is exactly the reason I didn't jump on that 27. I do not have a 29-1, however, so please be kind enough to list em when I'm sitting at my keyboard and not away doing something dumb like working.

Seriously though, this one is just gorgeous.

That is a wonderful 29-1. I think that is the one I would consider the ultamate trophy gun for me.
