Just traded for a 29-3.It has a 3in.barrel and a non fluted cylinder and I just fell in love with it.While checking it out I noticed I could push the hammer off with my thumb when cocked. It takes a good bit of pressure but I can push it off it stays cocked if I rap it as hard as I can with my hand, its only with a good bit of pressure from my thumb that I can uncock it.Would this be something to worry about as everything else seems like new. Also I'm not sure if the springs are factory. The trigger breaks consistantly at 2#10 oz.in single action.Would a too weak rebound spring be the problem? thanks in advance for your opinions.

Check out the FAQ's. I saw an excellent write-up there on how to correct it.

It needs corrected either with parts or the proper application of stones. Eventually it'll fall off almost by looking at it! Ok, an exaggeration, but it will get so light that your trigger will bounce forward when you try to shoot SA and it won't fire.
