It's not the same era, but, I love the feel of the 1899 round butt.
Thanks. When I got it, it had some Pachmayr grips. The checkering was just about all worn down and they were in pretty terrible condition, so I put on these grips and threw away the "Goodyears". Like most model 10's, this one is a real good shooter and remains tight mechanically. I let my 30 something SIL shoot it a few weeks back. Like many of that generation, he wasn't familiar with revolvers, but after shooting this, he fell in love (don't let my daughter know).BE Mike
