I never putt a 2" 357 barrel on a model 10 . Here is a couple of 10-7 guns one I milled for adjustable sights and it is running a 4" Python barrel and a recessed model 19 cylinder, the other is running a nickel model 13 cylinder and 4" barrel. My 10-2 now has a 2 1/2" model 19 barrel and a 19 cylinder, for a while I ran a 38 special barrel on it and has been my learning gun. First gun I ever set up with adjustable sights, It isn't pretty LOL it does work.
