Where are these gunsmiths that inspect guns and deem them safe to shoot?

I see you are in VA. If NOVA, then I discovered yesterday that Atlantic Guns in Rockville/Gaithersburg MD has a new gunsmith who has revolver experience.

He's remarkably young (that trait becomes more common as I get older!) but after speaking with him I'm confident he is competent, at least when it comes to basic issues. I left him two K frames with minor and consistent timing/carry up issues rather than fitting hands myself. His quote for $80 for the two, which strikes me as a bargain around here. Turn around time under two weeks.

As noted above, the M 13-1 has the barrel flat.
