Man that sucks. I get the anchored to the.spot feeling.
While I certainly appreciate the "it's worth only this..." Walk a mile in my shoes here in SoCal. Unless you live here, buy and sell guns here you just have no understanding of what's available, what comes available and what you do if you find one available.
Yes I bought it and it will reside in my S&W Magnum collection. And already sent off to Roy J for the letter.
A fool and his money...not quite...now I have one and the other Californians don't. This is a chitty libro haven. All working against me and those like me. We cannot be trusted and certainly must be evil. Can't wait till the "ammo ban" starts Jan 1st.
If I did not grow up right where I live, my business of 36 years was not my business of 36 years, my family and friends weren't here, my Pops and MIL weren't here and our son didn't live and go to grad school here...you get my drift?
...I need a drink...
A little late to the thread, but I think the price was reasonable, given that it’s Cali. I would have paid that here in Florida, mainly because it is a birth year revolver for me and I’ve been wanting one of those in a 57 and 19 in that order. I’m still looking and hope to find one a little cheaper given my location. By the way, what does “drippy mint” mean?
Don't get all bent man.Gee I live here and you live there. That's that. Sure we pay more however we also have way, way more opportunity to make more.
Glad we're only talking about the 19 I paid $1100 for that was actually here in SoCal and available. Perfect price and value-no kidding.
...Glad not talkin bout my fat crib or dope whip.
1962 Model 19 No Dash 357 Combat Magnum
Now that it's in my Safe...19 No Dash as it appears. Yes, CA $$$ but what else would I do with the $$$?
Thanks to Roy Jinks; "Shipped March 8, 1962 and delivered to Gil Hebard Guns. Inc. Knoxville,IL. As pictured with 3-T's."
Best, Dave
