Here's my only 5-inch 27-2, and my only nickel S&W.
This is the gun that got me into "collecting" S&Ws.
3-Ts, factory fired only, original factory case, papers, and tools.
I traded for it in 2001 - value of my trade guns was $450.

Love the 5 inch 27s, this dash two is a favorite, and yes it gets shot but never in a holster.

...I own three 5" barreled 27-2s, two of which are pristine, in the presentation case and in the same SN range as Bill's 5"er. I have no photos of them yet, but I committed to Bill that I will try and take and post a few during the next week or so.

Your gun has the right trigger and sights IMOHere is my 27-2 5" made in 1978. It came with the 3T's option in the Presentation Case. I had a smooth combat trigger installed when I had a gunsmith smooth the action. Stocks are smooth rosewood from Sile that I picked up a couple of decades ago at a $10 sale from CDNN. From what I have observed, the Patridge front sight is somewhat uncommon.
Wow.....That's beautiful!
Here's mine, one of those 5 inch nickel FHP 27-2s
