It is one of the lighter 45 ACP revolvers made and weighs 4 ounces less than this one.

I have thought about looking for one but it is a bit to “squarish” for me, at this time.

I bought it but can't pick it up until March 20th. In Az the shop has to have it 30 days to insure not stolen. I paid $913 for the handgun alone, no keys or manual. S&W are sending both at no charge. Customer service said it was made in December 2015.

I'm late to the game here, looking for one also. One question, does the ejector rod fully clear the empty cases? It looks kinda short. Thanks

The cases do not clear the cylinder. However I’ve never had any problems with ejection when using moon clips. New, the Thunder Ranch came with a carry case, several moon clips, a top rail to replace the rear sight, and an under barrel rail for a light, laser, bayonet, etc. I’d keep that in mind when negotiating for a lower price.

I picked one up at a shop in Tucson this winter. Came with everything but the light rail. Paid a little more then that but I don't remember the exact price without looking at my records. Been looking for a light rail but to say they are scarce would be an understatement!

Haven't shot it yet so I can't report on that, but if it shoots anywhere near as good as my 625 it'll be a keeper.
