Model 39 no dash extractor replacement

Hey guys, I've searched the gunsmithing section before starting this as I figured there'd be a write up based on the high failure rate of the original long extractor on the non dash model 39. Well I didn't find anything...

Is there a write up on how to replace the extractor? If there is can someone please link it... if there isn't can someone let me know the procedure to change such a part. I am new to firearms but very mechanically inclined.

Yeah I ordered one from Numrich gun parts corp.. it was around $50 shipped... too about a week to get. Thinking of ordering and extra one, sounds like they might be hard to find... here's the link
