Model 3953 newbie question

Im looking for a holser for my 3953 and was wondering if there were other models that were similar to this model. For instance, is a 3953, and 5946 close to the same thing? The both look smilar in the pictures? What im trying to say is what models are compatbale with this model/frame gun. im looking online everywhere and sometimes the website doesnt have my model number but has other model numbers, that when i look them up online, they look similar to my gun, aside from different in color. i would like to get a blackhawk serpa locking holster but they only made it in the 5946 frame, was hoping that my model was the same frame, just different

3913/14 holsters will work, 6906 holsters SHOULD work. 59xx holsters will not as they are larger framed firearms.

Actually, the 3953 will fit just fine in the 59xx Serpa. The slide is 1/2" shorter but it'll fit fine. A 3953 will fit in any open top holster for the 39xx, 69xx, 59xx, 40xx. It won't fit in any of those holsters with a thumb strap due to the elongated rear of the 3953 slide.

I also have a few holsters for a Sig P228 that fit my Sig P239 and S&W 3953.

I believe I bought it from the classifieds here or on a Sig pistol forum. I have bought and traded for a dozen holsters in the last six months, it is difficult to recall.

Ok, i hope you're right. I have a Serpa CQC for my FS M&P 9 and love it. Wish me luck.

It'll definitely fit. Before I answered I went out to the shop and took the 5946 out of its Serpa and shoved a 3953 in it. And then a 4046 and a 4053. They all fit perfectly. I was a bit surprised that the 4053 single stack fit, but it did.

Yup, fits good and tight. May cause a little rubbing on slide but worth it. Love and trust these holsters

Alien makes a kydex IWB holster for the 3913, but will work for the 3953.
