Model 58 With SS

I picked up this nice M58 today. It is a little unusual as it has Stainless hammer and trigger, both wider than the standard. I also got the original hammer and trigger to go with it. Numbers on the stocks match the serial. I thought I would immediately be changing the hammer/trigger back to the originals, but I am kind of liking this different look. The lockup and mechanics are perfect, and the hammer pull is light and crisp. Maybe a combo from a M657? What do you think?

For a few extra bucks, I also got a brand new M58 barrel in the deal.

I think it looks great, and I love the smooth trigger, wish I had a smooth target/combat on all my S&W's, but my M28-2 is the only one I have with it. The standard trigger and hammer spur look a bit small on a N frame gun.

Why do you suppose the previous owner had a spare barrel? Your gun, BTW, if you didn't know, is from 1969, according to the SN
