I have one of the "original" Model 60s but it wasn't a very good shooter and the DA pull was terrible - mainly because of the soft SS Hammer and Trigger used in those very early guns. I couldn't find an ammo that would shoot to POA and I didn't want to spend all the dollars putting in a new Hammer and Trigger. I sold that at one of the local gun shows and saw it move from table to table for a number of years. I now have a Model 60-4 with the 3 inch barrel, adjustable sights and hard chromed hammer and trigger. It shoots to POA because I can now adjust for whatever I'm shooting and the DA trigger pull is very acceptable.

It's my carry gun, but I don't care for bobbed hammers. I like it just the way it is!

Bang X 5. All the time. Every time. Bob or no bob, New or old model, no matter 38SPL or Magnum, it goes bang. I expect fire out of the front end.
