Model 625 front sight

I took my 625-2 (.45 ACP) to the range the other day, and found out that my loads are shooting high. I put the rear sight all the way down, and using a 6 o'clock hold at 25 yards, I was still hitting 4 or 5 inches high.

Can I get a higher ramp front sight for the gun?

From what I can tell, I have the tallest rear sight blade on it too.

It's easier to replace the rear blade with a shorter one then it is to change out the front blade, unless your 625 has one of them new-fangled spring-loaded front blades in it.

Okay, I must be screwed up on my thinking. I guess a shorter rear sight blade would work.

You need a shorter rear blade or a lighter and/or faster bullet. Slower and/or heavier bullets will hit higher.
