Model 916A shotgun won't cycle

I have the subject shotgun and it will fire but it will only cycle if the action release is depressed. It is essentially a single shot. I realize that this is not the best shotgun ever built and I do not want to spend any large sums of money to fix it, I'm just looking to see if I can find out why it fails to cycle. I have torn it down and can see no obvious faults but I am not a pump action expert. Anyone know why this shotgun won't cycle?

Hi, there is another 916A thread at the present time on the Forum. Perhaps you've seen it. At least 2 of 6 report problems with their guns. Perhaps a PM to them could provide some info? I'm surprised no other member has responded to you.
