A couple of weeks ago I posted a thread on the Hand Ejector sub forum about my father in laws revolver that he used in the late 50's, early 60's while serving as a police officer. The revolver had been missing for forty or so years and recently showed back up.
One of the suggestions was to clean it up as much as possible and then display it in a shadow box along with the holster and an empty box of period ammuniton.
Very quickly one of the members here, Model520Fan offered to send me the appropriate box at no cost to me. What a kind gesture. It arrived yesterday and my wife is thrilled. I'm pretty happy myself.
