Movember

I've had a mustache for more than 30 years. After I retired, I let the full beard grow out. Darn thing grew out in about 30 different directions. It was an out of control fur ball that absolutely refused to be tamed. I looked like I had just been rescued off some desert island somewhere  I finally gave up and shaved it off.
But since I am retired, I only shave when I need to go somewhere and need to look halfway decent. Usually I'm walking around with a couple of day worth of stubble.
I still have the stache though. ;)

:D:D

Other than this month I shave once every two weeks for my volunteer work. :)

Yip, I stop shaving on Halloween every year. Been doing it for more than a dozen for Movember.

Next month I'll go in and have Shane at Whiskey Cuts (a snazzy new bar-ber shop in Lander) straight razor shave around my goatee and mustache -- they ain't goin' nowhere!

I caught a cold last weekend and didn't shave while I was home with it. When the time came to go back to the office yesterday, I liked the grizzly beard enough that I just shaved it into shape, trimmed it back to one length and left it.

Since then, I've had two people ask me if I was doing No-Shave November. No, I don't do group things - I may just go shave the thing when I get home, even though I'm kind of liking having it (first time in a couple years I've let it go this long - I've had them from time to time before).
