MP15-22MOE

I've never been a fan of the snakes. You're removing dirt with dirt.

I agree. It's kind if like bathing instead of showering. You're just sitting there in your own a** water.

I quit using mine after it did a poor job on my AKM. When you shoot corrosive ammo, it's important to get all the crud out. I ran a patch down the bore after pulling a clean snake through several times and it was completely black. Then I ran a patch through my 10/22 that was just "cleaned" and got the same result.

I am sure that I am going to enjoy it. Glad that I foreseen the ammo crunch coming and am well stocked on .22's. I am thinking my 10 year old Granddaughter is going to like it. She begin shooting with me at the age of four.

Congrats on the find and welcome from Texas... your gonna love this rifle... Good shooting to ya amd welcome agin...

Hello Guys, I spend all of my time over in the Old Wheel Gun Section of the Forum, but this morning, my friends at my favorite gun shop talked me into this S&W .22 rifle. They said they found it in the back unopened and didn't realize there was one left. Just brought it home and I need to read up on them on this forum, but curious what you guys think of them. Pretty cool looking rifle. Thanks, keith

Now those are good friends to have! Congratulations, you will enjoy it. I bought mine when they first came out, and it is by far the most fun rifle I have to take to the range.

Congrats on great find.

You might want to check and see if they also have the pistol version stashed back somewhere. They were discontinued but do show up from time to time. I have more fun shooting it than my rifles.

Bill

Wouldn't that be sumthin' :D

When I found my pistol it was hanging on display wall at the bottom right corner. Had about an 1/8th inch of dust on it. Took them awhile to find the box in the back.
