It's back! The trigger pull is very smooth and lighter then before. The paper work indicates they replaced the hand and mainspring. Very happy and excited to get out to the range.
Thanks for relating the story from beginning to now. You might have convinced me to do the same. Smooth is a terrible descriptor for single malt Scotch whisky, but it sure is compelling for the dao M&P.

Managed to pop off 35rds at 15yards over my lunch break. 20 target 38s, 10 38+Ps, and 5 357 mags. All rounds hit a letter sized sheet of paper which is something I couldn't do before even at 7yards!
Very pleased that YOU are pleased with the worked-on gun. 15 yards on a piece of 8.5x11 in paper is fine, IMHO. Am wondering: does your workplace have a range on the premises or did you take the gun out into the hallway to try it out!!??

Local range is 12-15mins from my work. I opted to skip lunch, run over there, pop off the rounds as fast as I could, and drive back all with the 1hr window of opportunity.
Exactly what I would do. Great minds work alike, don't they?
