She chose this over a loaded Expedition Max...

Over the top for a 64 year old woman!
It's taller and heavier than my F-150...

Any wonder why I married her! :p

I would take that over the Expedition/Navigator any day!

Ivan
I wouldn't have chose that, but it is fun to drive.

She initially said she wanted an F-150 just like mine. I went up to the dealership, did some recon and had them value her 2018 Explorer. They had one white F-150 with a V8 in stock, but I also thought she'd like this:

I took her to the dealership to see what I found. We walked the showroom floor while waiting to talk to our salesman and spotted the Bronco. It wasn't there a half hour earlier. It's a new 2023 that was marked down over $18K and Ford offered an additional $5K off a B-Raptor if you trade in a vehicle.

She was grinning ear to ear when she looked it over. I asked her if she'd want a thing like that and she told me, OH YEAH!

I don't see any mud bogging, dune jumping or rock climbing in her future, but it should be OK in the snow.

I thought my tires looked big, until she parked it in the driveway.

My wife did the same thing. Decided it was time to ditch the Audi Q7 which was absolutely the nicest most luxurious vehicle I've ever sat in, for a Bronco Outer Banks edition. Complete with V6 twin turbo and 32" tires.

Hate to say it old boy but she pretty much emasculated you right there!
Go ahead and turn in your man card and moderator badge and join the quilting club.

Thats a nice ride.
Ford has a hit with those new Bronco's.
Sure putting a dent in Jeep sales.

Mrs Chad is the quilter. I do get to drive it, but I actually prefer my truck. It has more room, rides better and is faster.

She told me she was stopped at a light next to a cop yesterday and he was eyeing the B-Raptor bigtime. I'm hardwiring in a radar detector today... ;)

I got my wife a Ford Maverick. They're cheap compared to regular, real trucks, but honest to goodness she can't climb up into anything higher off the ground! Her brother carries a small step stool in his truck for her. She's < 5feet tall...

Watching my wife get in and out is pretty entertaining. I'm 6'5" and it's a good 4" drop to the ground for me!

She like to take Scout to the park and the trails at the local community college. There's a perfect doggy containment area in the back. Scout seems to enjoy it!
