Just bought the ms2 sling. Does the 15-22 come with everything needed for a 1 point configuration?( I'm thinking it does have a mount but not sure) also...is there a place on the 15-22 where you could switch from 1 to 2 point sling? Like a loop or something you could connect into or will I have to buy an additional mount?

The standard version (non-MOE) does not. It includes a sling loop on the bottom of the M-4 stock. It does not include a front sling swivel.

Example of rear sling swivel on standard M-4 stock:

The 15-22 MOE version has one quick release sling swivel just above the pistol grip and does not include a front sling swivel:

If you have a standard version 15-22 and want a single point, get one of these:

See the following thread:Link

If you want to convert to a 2-point setup, you will need a front adapter, here is an example:

You can but it's at the end of the stock, not really ideal for a 1 point sling. You want a 1 point to connect somewhere closer to the middle of the rifle. The sling loop on the non-MOE version is for a two point setup. You would have to get a sling loop for the front of the rifle to attach to one of the rails on the handguard.

Here is the setup I have. Works great too.

How exactly does this mount work when the 15-22 buffer tube has an adjustment channel that runs the entire length of the bottom of the tube and this mount expects a "real" AR tube that is round at the receiver end (as shown in your pic)? I think this is a no-go.

It won't without modification (i.e removal) of that section where the sling adapter will mount. Not something I would be willing to do to my rifle...
