My first revolver and it's a beauty

I am trading an AK parts kit to a friend for this little beauty. I have about 100.00 in the kit and I figured this pistol probably worth 350-400 maybe so it's a good deal to me. It is a model 37-2 in original nickle. Serial number BFZxxxx so I think it's a late 80's model. I am guessing it has maybe 100 rounds through it and looks as if it was never carried. There is not a scratch or nick in the finish. My buddy didn't like it because it showed fingerprints so badly and did not like how the trigger/hammer looked. I think I will remove the Uncle Mikes grip and probably find some original grips for it and add a T-grip (I like the old school). I might have the trigger smoothed and the hammer bobbed. I want this to be a pocket carried gun for when I'm off-duty. Man it looks nice. I love it.

I think the flat head screw on the sideplate belongs under the grips and the other domed head screw belongs where the flat head one is now.

Wood and a T-Grip will really finish that little gun, but I wouldn't cut the original hammer.

I will find a replacement hammer so I will not harm the original...I know better than that

. Yeah, when I saw the pistol I was like "Heck yeah, lets trade". Its all about personal likes.

GREAT gun, I have a 37 just like it.
I did notice that the screw behind the trigger appears to be flat, That one should be under the grip, The rounded ones go forward, The flat one goes under the grips.

Really nice handgun and a great trade (for you). I think I would have removed my fingerprints from my fingers, with acid, before I gave up that little beauty. I also think the case hardened hammer and trigger look better than a stainless set would, but you could try a swap, maybe? Enjoy.
