A beauty for sure Paul. Bet is a dream to shoot. I have K38 post war 1949 narrow rib that is my birth year gun. Also in great shape. What are the grips, original Ropers?

Can't beat Spegel grips....... mine is a, actually three, 3" Model 66s. My carry revolver is a "used" 3" 66-4 I picked up about 20 years ago [miss-marked] for $325, I added the Spegel Boot grips ..... the two -3s are safe queens w/ boxes, docs and tools

I have had several PM's over my signature, but yours made me laugh, and still does as I write this.
i have had 2 prior signatures: We deal in lead, friend from the Magnificent Seven, and Yo Adrian I did it from Rocky 2.
One of my dear passed friends used to call people baloney smugglers. People he was usually suspect of. Well in my search for a new signature, this came to mind.
There are tons of smugglers in this world, arms, medical stuff, secrets, liquor etc., but picture somebody going through that to smuggle baloney. It is down right funny. Clandestine meetings , guns, guards, money changing hands, border patrol and anything you can think of, and all this over baloney.
It is funny IMHO.

This is a tough one Pete. I have several I really like. But if I have to pick just one it would probably be my blue 19-3 with 2 1/2 inch barrel and bigmtnman grips.

Great looking examples. I had a 65 once the first week they were available to the dealers.. 135.00 OTD. I qualified with it combat, 248/250. So what did I do, I traded it like a dummy. Story or my life

Without any hesitation my favorite is my model 15. Even my 19 year old grandson tends to shoot it more than any of my several handguns.

Hell Pete, I smuggle baloney a couple of times a week, in my belly!
K frame favorite? Not my thing but have a few 38's and 32 WCF to use for trades.

If it is unfired it couldn't be my favorite.....but that's just me.
In the S&W 38/357 department, I would have to say , that I enjoyed the balance and comfort
of my M19-5, of all the 38/357 revolvers that I have used over the years.
My 686 6" is a great "Magnum" revolver, that I don't have to baby, or worry about, though.

Four inch Model 15-2 (1966). Honorable Mention to Model 19-4 (1979)
Of course I am a L-Frame fan. Especially 686 Plus (1996) and Honorable Mention to the original 686 (1983)
