My new / old 30-1, .32Long

Hey all. New member here - first post other than the new member post.

I recently decided to look for a snub nose revolver, to fill the "medium" size slot in my small group of revolvers.

After checking out the Airweights, I decided to look for an older used model, since I tend to like the older traditional style a little more. I ended up picking up this sweet little mid 1960's .32. Very clean and tight.

That's a very nice gun, Dick. I envy the 3" barrel. I've always wanted a 2" snub just to have, but I'd have grabbed up a 3" if possible.

What ammo works best with yours?

Very nice - I have a 30-2 snubbie that I even carry when I'm dressed in such a way that it is hard to hide something bigger.

Would love to post pix but I'm "picture challenged". Need to work on that!

Here's a pre-30; sn 5447xx, from around 1946:

Reported to have come out of Alaska; probably used to kill mosquitoes. Those little buggers are sortta cute (the S&W's, not the mosquitoes).

Also have a M31-1and a couple of earlier Regulation Police 32's:

That's about the extent of my 32 S&W Long assortment. Nice guns, but I don't get to shoot them much anymore because of the cost and availability of ammo. Maybe one of these days I'll get around to reloading for them. -S2
