My old shop revisited

The old shop is back in service, finally. (Yeah, a little cluttered )
Happy to report none of the long guns I had stored for years suffered from their storage.
Even got the stock mounted on the old Parker.
Kind of fitting since 39 years ago today my old Daddy passed on to his rewards.

That Parker double 12 was without a buttstock until today, I inletted and fitted her up today. There was a good cigar involved too.

Did you ever get the old jail cell doors installed. Wish I had a room were I could reminisce about working with my father. Looks different then you original picture.

The jail cell doors are still in the works, but I 've got plenty of projects for today

and in the "wood room" adjoining....

Mrs. OTM walks in yesterday, then immediately launched into cleaning and painting the old laundry room (remember when we used to have laundry rooms separated from the house?) 'cause the clothesline was in the yard!

Well, I'm movin' in, clearing up and trying to get some work done at the same time, so I just say, " everythings just starting to settle into its place" ( that's MY story )
