My Pre 29 arrived. Very disapointed have to send it back

that gun is a prime candidate for fixing up. you won't be making any money on it, and you'll probably lose if you sell it but you will be doing that old gun right. i've fixed up some old dogs just to make them look nice again. i don't get hung up on the few hundred bucks i "lost". heck, taking my family out to a regular restaurant costs $75 and nobody will remember that dinner next year. that pre-29 will be throwing lead for somebody in the next century if properly cared for.
 
I'm sorry he pulled stakes,I was about to make him an offer to ease his pain.Like Model 70 Hunter, I see the potential in it ,It's a shame he put too much into it going in. I can see a 5" hard chromed goin' to the woods gun there. A full resto would be a little much but the way some of these things go, who knows next year it might be worth what went into it. Nick
