A few months back I shot my first IDPA classifier. I ended up at Novice, the lowest class level. I missed the cutoff to Marksman by a few seconds. I also had a good idea of where I needed to improve.

Fast fwd to present. I shot Sharp Shooter.

What changed?
-My preparedness
-My firearm

I swapped over to an M&P 9. Dawson sights and grip tape, but otherwise stock. Gotta say, it is looking like a good choice to change over.

What kind of mag pouches are those?

Which Dawson sights did you get? Did you get both front and rear? What heights?

I have gone from 4 glocks in the house to 3 m&p and 1 glock. I have always shot the m&p 9 well. I was just on a glock kick last fall when I started IDPA.

The holster and pouches are made by a local shooter up in TN. Not even sure his company name. I have his rigs for 1911, model 66, and m&p. all are well done and priced well.
