I purchased it through Gunbroker.com from an individual in Atlanta,GA. Excellent condition throughout, even the FFL that handled the transfer was impressed by it's condition. Gave it a thorough cleaning and now it's ready to go. I've got 2 12 round magazines on the way from cheaperthandirt.com that should be here by the weekend which leaves me to find a good holster for it , probably another Bianchi like I use for my Ruger P95. Any holster recommendations from other SW99 owners?

I've normally used nylon "soft armor" type holsters in the past and my recent experiences with a Fobus paddle type wasn't a good one. I'd be willing to consider leather as an option.

High Noon makes good, and reasonably priced, holsters for the P99/SW99. Blackhawk also makes leather holsters to fit the P99/SW99. The Bianchi Minimalist (#105) is a good OWB, belt slide holster, and is generally available at the bigger sports stores, i.e., Bass Pro Shop, Academy, etc.

I use a IWB holster made by Uncle Mikes. It is the large pistol size. I think you can use any Glock 22 sized holster.

Welcome to the forum. In my opinion the S&W99 mis under apprediated. Mine is totally reliable and surprisingly accurate for a short barreled gun. I use the Uncle Mikes holster.

If you're looking for an off the shelf OWB holster I highly recommend the Galco FLETCH. Using a standard belt (not even a holster belt) I can conceal my full-size M&P under an untucked polo shirt decently, or very well under a jacket. They make one that fits the 99-series pistols.
