" Coke" grips? Thanks in advance.

Look at the stickey in the hand ejector forum for a rundown of all S & W grips. Scroll down a bit and you will find pictures of cokes.

What year did S&W stop Cokes on the M-29-2 Im looking @ one going for $1000.00 has everything and was shipped in 1974.

Coke bottle stocks were discontinued on the Model 29-2 sometime in the 1966-67 timeframe. The target stocks on the 29-2 you are looking at should be checkered and made of Goncalo alves (most likely). They would not have the diamond around the escutcheons.

Photo number 17 in my Handgun Stocks album will give you a good idea of what the original stocks on a 29-2 from 1974 look like.
