I wonder what they will think of "Blazing Saddles"?
How long has it been that you've seen an unedited version of Blazing Saddles and I'm not talking about the campfire scene!
I wonder what they will think of "Blazing Saddles"?
I suggest we re-name everything for a Native American that's currently named after any White man in honor of my Native American ancestors...Everything including cities, states, forts, etc. including the United States of America... How about the United states of Geronimo? Red Cloud? Sitting Bull? Cochise?
Sarcasm of course but no more ridiculous than what the leftist stooges currently want.
This is sad that they even consider doing this! Erase our history to satisfy a land of worthless crybabies.
These men of the Confederacy were of the United States, and were mostly graduates of West Point. A war that put Brother against Brother!
These men were worth more to this country, even dead then these worthless cretons are and ever will be.The idea that these worthless people have the nerve to want their statues and their names removed.
I can’t believe that the powers to be bend over for these people, quite frankly simply said they should just be told to booger off!
I just despise the ruination of our country and it’s history, you don’t like it leave!

One of these things is not like another. Lee, Jackson, Hill, Pickett, etc. didn't leave their native land, they fought for what they believed the United States should be. At the end of the war, former Confederate combatants re-gained US citizenship. That would not, in a billion, billion years, be the case with your example.

It makes no sense.
I've never really understood why US military bases were named after Confederates. Seems a bit odd to me. Yeah, I know most of them served in the US military before secession, but still.
I think I'm okay with them changing the names if that's what they decide to do.
And before you ask, yes, I'm a native Texan and VERY conservative.
