NcSTAR Mark III

Looks like your reticle is a bit off kilter compared to the charging handle ...

Love the image/lack of magnification ... Unless I find someone giving away the 1-4x Burris, I think one of these will be on top of my gun after the next gun show. (I think the one conclusion I've come to out of all this is to buy one in person and make sure it's right before buying)

ya, id does appear that way in the photo, but its not when ya hold the gun. maybe a trick with the camera. youre right about the level of magnification. it goes to 4x..which is more than enough for plinking.

im very pleased with this one 119 free shiping

Problem on rubberized laser/mil dot

Hey Guys,

So I have the NcSatr Mark III Tactical Rubberized 3-9x42 w/ the laser. I was at the range all day today and didn't have a problem, but when I got home when I set the Rheostat to 'B' (for both laser and reticle) only the laser turns on. The reticle flashes for a quick second before the laser comes on, but then turns off.

Anyone know what's going on here? Is this something I can fix easily or should I send it back?

I had that exact same problem too. It's like right before your fully locked into the "B" position they both work, but when it clicks only the laser is operating. So you end up having two different settings for laser. NcStar has lifetime warrenty. I couldn't get it to work so I returned it to my local dealer (where I purchased it). They didn't have another one, or the ultimate one, which I was going to upgrade for, so I went with a 1x red dot so I could co-witness my irons. You shouldn't have any trouble exchanging it, unless some one here knows how to fix this problem.

mine did the same thing.. on the first one i sent it back and got a new 1.. it did it when i got it.. went and got a real battery for it and now it works

Just picked up my 15-22 a week ago and already received a couple of goodies.

I got my scope/reddot combo from rrages yesterday. I like the look and took it to the range today. Seems to work pretty well and I can't say I have too many complaints for the price. I'll get out to a bigger range hopefully in the next week. My only issue I'm dealing with now is trying to get the cross and target in focus at the same time (maybe a rookie error or not understanding).

I THINK I'd like it about 1/4" higher, but I'm not sure I can get one that tall. 1/2" might be a little too much, and I know the 3/4" was too much.

I too, wanted the 4X scope, but it's months away from coming back in stock. With the research I've done, it seems that most people are very satisfied with it. I plan on picking one up once it comes back in stock, then testing it against the NcStar and keeping whichever I like better. Expect a long wait though.

The Primary Arms Compact 4x is back in stock. Just clicked the buy button.

This is positively the last thing I buy for the 15-22!!!... maybe.

Well, I picked up a short 1/2" riser, 3 1/2" long. Size is about perfect as it extends about 1/4" out either side of the quick attach stock mount. It was about $15-20 from ebay, shipped from Michigan. Seems rock solid. I haven't shot it yet, but looking through it, it "feels" a LOT better than when it was sitting now. It's more naturally sitting in the middle section of my cheek instead of having to turn my head or scrunch up to look through.

Now I just need a stock that sits flat against my shoulder instead of sticking up 1-2" :p
