NDZPerformance SBR Speed Bolt Release

For everyone that currently has one: I've installed the real BAD lever bent to fit the 15-22 and it will hold the bolt open no problem after the last round is fired. However when I release the magazine the bolt will close without touching the BAD lever just about everytime-it did not do this before installing the BAD lever. Does anyone have experience with this the the NDZ bad lever holding the bolt open once the mag is released? I will order one if it functions correctly.
Thanks

I just tested what you asked. First, I think your problem with the BAD lever is that when the magazine button is pushed the release on the other side that gets pushed through probably hits part of the bent lever...

With regards to your question, the SBR does not release the bolt when you release the mag. It does, however, close automatically if you slam the mag home. I'd say every other time I would reload it would close automatically based on the force with which I inserted the magazines. Hope this answers your questions!

For the average shooter, it's not that much of a deal. For competition shooters it can shave enough time off the reloading process to make the difference between first place and everything else.

More importantly than that, the reason it was invented - for people who may have to shoot someone in the face, it allows you to change mags and clear malfunctions MUCH faster. Not having to take your firing hand out of your working space is huge.

You are exactly correct! The release is hitting the bad lever and causing it to release the bolt. Guess its back to more bending! I would have bought the NDZ but I already have the BAD. If I can get it to work properly I'd hate to waste the $30.00. If I had to do it over again I would just buy the NDZ.
