Need Advice

I have a chance on a S&W M66-4, 2 1/2"barrel. I really wanted a P&R 66 or 19 2 1/2" but these days you pretty much have to take what you find. It's in really great shape, sadly no box or doc's. Asking price is $384.00 otd. What do you Gentleman think about a -4, Mdl 66? Go for it or pass? Thanks for your help.

That price seems reasonable for a SS K frame, I paid $385 recently for a 2" 64.

Seems right to me. I'd pay that plus a little for one. Go get it!! You do know that if you do get it, you have to post pictures....don't you?

I promise, I will. one nice thing about it is that the original wood grips are still on it. I hate when people take them off, replace them with goodyears then end up loosing the wood ones.....

Even withour box and papers, $384 OTD is a bargain for a snubbie M66 in that condition in these parts. I say grab it and run.

Not a thing wrong with a -4.. Got all the good parts the older ones have, sans the newer cylinder release.. No MIM parts, pin on the hammer, what else can ya ask for?

When I see a nice S&W at a very good price and then take the time to ask for others opinions on it, it is usually gone when I go back to get it. Hope this does not happen to you. Get it.
