Can anyone help ID this model? It is very close to the SCSW descriptions for both the 5906 PC-9 and the 6906 Compact, but different in several points.

It is Two-Tone (Blue Slide over Satin Stainless Frame) like the PC-9, but has a 12 shot magazine (magazine stamped with the Performance Center logo) instead of 15. The left side of the frame is bears the Performance Center logo as well, but there is no model number on the gun.

It has the 12 round magazine like the 6906 Compact, but a single-side safety. Also, the Serial No. on the gun, PCV06xx, seems closer to the SCSW listing for the 6906: VPCxxxx (possibly reversed lettering typo in the catalog?)

Looks like a variation of the 6906. It's frame is shorter than that of a 5906, and looks to be an alloy instead of stainless steel like the 6906. Very nice pistol if that is yours!

didn't read post carefully....it's a pc9....performance center 6906...as it is a compact frame it uses 12 round mags....nice pistol!!

The last couple I've seen on Gunbroker were all priced over $1K.

I'd say anything below that, you got a great deal. You don't come across those PC-9s very often. Good luck! Regards 18DAI

I bought one online about 10 years ago from someone who had no idea what they had. They listed it as a 6903. As soon as I showed it to my wife and she felt the trigger, she claimed it as her new carry gun. It is a sweet shooting gun and more accurate than I am. I put night sights on it.

Good luck!

Mike
