I'm having difficulty identifying this revolver. I thought it was a 32 Hand Ejector "Pre 30" but now I'm not so sure. I think the grips are wrong too. Serial is 6331XX.

It is a .32 Hand Ejector, post WWII. If it is not model marked as a 30, it would be a pre model 30. Model marking started around 1957.

Nice gun. At least those are factory optional premium grips, just a later vintage.

Specifically you have an early 4 screw "Model of 1953 .32 Hand Ejector" built on the new I frame. It was designated the Model 30 in 1957 and therefore is nicknamed a Pre Model 30 by collectors.

It needs a polish with Flitz, Semi-chrome, or Mothers Mag wheel polish to look like new again.

Sadly the grips are not original. They have a number on the inside but it's only two digits and looks to be written with a permanent marker. I'll pick up some polish and give a shine.

I'd still consider the grips an upgrade. The gun is not a particularly collectible model anyway. It's been produced in great volume.

Those #''s were to keep the set together.
They are from a later time post 1967 but went probably to a special gun....they are a + IMHO
