I would appreciate any recommendations concerning good precast, lubed and sized (.359) flat base wadcutters to use in my model 14. Just don't have the time to cast my own.

Thanks,

You have found the only real reason for casting though, availability.

You can't find them, I can walk out to my garage and have thousands by the end of the day.

The choice seems simple to me!

Penn Bullets makes 148 grain flat base wadcutters. Although their standard size is .358, they can make .359's on request. Their bullets are excellent, but you might have a bit of a wait for a special order item.

A good alternative would be swaged hollow base wadcutters which will expand to fill oversize throats or bores and are very accurate. I've used Hornady, Remington, and Speer with good results.
