Model 14 advice needed-

That will benefit you. Guns form the 70's can be very very good.
I know... Thank goodness- because just collecting "interesting" guns- and quality guns gets expensive enough- without throwing in collectability as well!
Like this week- bought the Model 14- and a Yazell black powder target pistol- from original owner, near mint. A gun like this rarely appears for sale- I had been wanting one- when it comes around, you have to jump- or forget it. Surprisingly, it was posted on here for a while. On a black powder forum- it probably wouldn't have lasted a day.
One of those times I got lucky!
Also... re. some '70's guns being very good- I know... I had a High Standard Supermatic Citation Military model- killed me to get rid of, would give anything to have it back.

Wes, I'm in NE Florida, too. Wish I could move to Maine and shoot my 14-3 off the back porch all day. I'm not so sure these aren't collectable, but mine gets shot more than any of the others.
