New 15-22 charging handle

Do you have a shroud that would be compatible with a screw on compensator?? I really should get the grand daughter one of your charging handles...she is sooo spoiled. :)

You can get the non-threaded barrel shroud. It fits the barrel, not the threads, and will back up against your compensator. (Muzzle brake, flash hider)
Spoil away. ;-)

Stupid question...what length shroud should I order then???

No dumb questions.
I like the 6 inch. It covers the entire barrel and goes inside the hand guard.
If you want to replace your FH, get the threaded shroud.
If you don't have a threaded barrel with a FH and you want the shroud to go behind it, get the non-threaded barrel shroud for the 15-22

Not yet. I will start a new thread as soon as it is time.
Thanks for the interest. It is going to be awesome, but perfection takes time.

I can believe it!!

I'm very happy with your charging handle and SWS enhanced latch (I went with the large) This will hold me over till your new one is ready :D

I own many, many Tacticool parts and plan to order the charging handle... but what is the story on FDE? No more? Not doing? Coming back soon?

"you will need to re-use your factory polymer latch or any custom latch"

Well my Belt-fed Tactical charging latch is not fitting in this charging handle. Not without the latch or this handle being modified :(

Works perfect in the stock CH, but in this one, it needs either more milling or my charging latch needs to be filed down as the nub pivot point that sticks off where the pin drops in cannot line up.

Also, this CH does not ride free in the channel, it is pretty snug. The stock CH, set it in the channel and flick it and it will slide in and out on it's own. Heck, turn the rifle barrel up and it will drop out. This one, so snug, cannot move on it's own unless there is pressure behind it (and not, the channels for the handle are not dirty) :(

UPDATE: So, I spent about 30 minutes and used some jewlers files and filed, fit, filed, fit, filed and fit until I had taken off just enough material from the hump pivot point behind the pin hole on my charging latch as there was clearly excess not needed material that would not compromise the latch if removed. This was/is not an issue on the OEM CH, but on this CH, tolerances are much tighter so that excess in the hump pivot point made it impossible for the hole to line up and drop the pin in. But I got it to work. Not really the latches problem as it was sold to fit into the OEM CH and it did just fine, not so much the CH as it seems that the stock latch and the few other tactical latches fit, it seems just the combo of THIS latch and THIS charging handle. So, if you have a Belt_fed, prepare to have to file it down.

M&P 15-22 Charging Handle Latch.

Does anyone know of any sites that have a larger selection of latches? NDZ has a REALLY limited selection!
