I recently purchased a 6 inch Model 16-4 in .32 H&R at a discount because it had no rear sight but a Weaver scope base. I'm looking for some help on how to get a rear sight for this revolver and hope someone here can help.

I am planning on using this revolver as my hunting sidearm, and plan on sending the cylinder to Bowen Classic Arms to get rechambered as a .327 Federal. I have talked to him about his "Rough Country" sights which will not be a drop-in fit as this is the "Square Tang" model. Anyone know or have advice on rear sights for a 16-4?

Also I need to get a good holster and I like the Galco Phoenix which came up under a K-frame search but says it fits L-frames. Will it work with my K-frame?

Any help is appreciated. Pictures below.

The rear sight assembly should not be too hard to find. Numrich lists the following for the 16-4 although it is currently out of stock.

Rear Sight Assembly, .126, For 4", 6" & 8 3/8" Barrels
Product No. 300270
$58.50

At least this gives you the height of the blade you will need. I would do some searching on the internet.
