The wife just picked up a new 642 for her CCW and she absolutely loves it...she shoots it like a pro......I myself have a 640 on the way...I have a couple of plugs coming,as I am removing the locks immediately...My question is will removing the locks void the S&W warranty? I'm gonna do it anyway,I'm just curious...Thanks in advance...

Take the locks out and put them to the side for safe keeping , then if you have to send gun back , just re-install the lock.
