Well new to me. I've been looking for a nice 915 for a couple years. I've seen a lot of surplus, lots of 910s but few good examples that were what I thought were reasonable. Last week I saw what looked like a nice one on "that" auction site. And $275 + $25 shipping later. The gun appears un used. There is no wear only small marks like storage or handling marks.

915's are great and much loved on these forums. I have two, down one from 3. In my experience, these guns are great but the finish is no manner of durable. Not a big deal for a low cost working gun.

Figured I would mention that -- if your finish looks tip-top, that's strong evidence that you do indeed have a barely-used gun. Great pickup for that money.

You get that one from CDISales? If so, its an Israeli police trade-in. I talked to them when I got one a bit over a year ago. They said they're Israeli police and defense trade ins but they're not marked and as such don't have the gravitas. Nice condition one you have.

It was. Most of theirs look surplus. But they have about 4-5 that actually look good. They ranged from $275 to $305 I think. But the ones in the $250 and down look like they were run through the wringer.

915s are great guns.......I've bought 4 over the years ..... still have 3. The prices asked were just too low to walk away!

IIRC......Novak used several 915s as the basis to build customized carry guns

I've found they fall into two categories.....former Security Guard/Armored car guard guns........ w/ lots of finish wear. Or Sock drawer guns that may have not seen the light of day since the early 1990s ...... and LOL may never have been fired by their original buyer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That 915 is in amazing condition for surplus. :) Ya done good! :D

I paid a ton more money for mine. It's close to "as-new" shape in box with everything including original pre-ban magazines. Yours looks equally good for a whole lot less. :)

Nice duo. I had a Camp Carbine about 20 years ago. I wish I'd kept it. But someone wanted real bad and offered me about twice what I paid for it.

I am in California. I've been keeping an eye out for a 915 to go with my 411. A 915 in the condition of yours might go for double that in CA. Congrats - I am jealous!
