Apex sent me an email last week advertising a new trigger kit for the 2.0: curved trigger, sear, striker block, several springs.

Has anyone tried this or the earlier flat trigger kit in a 2.0? I'm doubtful that it's worth $145-165, but curious. The 2.0 is awfully good as it comes out of the box, but replacing the jointed trigger has some appeal.

I agree with everything you said about the 2.0’s trigger. HYVE has their monarch triggers on sale for $57.79. I’m really considering jumping on that deal since my beef isn’t the trigger pull but the hinged trigger itself.

I tried the Apex kit in an M.2 Shield. Overall the difference was very noticeable. However I ended up using the OEM trigger instead of the Apex Flat one with very positive results. The flat trigger hurt my finger, never did figure out whether it was the reset or the trigger press.

That's a good point. I have Apex triggers in a 9mm 1.0 and a .45 Shield and they're fine, but I was given an aluminum aftermarket trigger for my 43 and it pinched the cr*p out of my trigger finger. That sounds a little different than your problem, but it is definitely true that there can be issues with trigger changes.

I'm sorry, but I don't have a 2.0....yet.

However, I do have the original aluminum, curved trigger FSS in my M&P 45. It is an amazing improvement over the stock trigger.

I have taken a few dry presses on the 2.0 models. The factory trigger is much better, but not fantastic like the Walthers. I can only surmise that the Apex trigger would still be a great improvement over the factory trigger in the M&P. I wouldn't hesitate to get one.

If you're thinking about it, go for it. I doubt you'll be unhappy.

I put a duty kit with the flat trigger in a 40 cal 1.0. I love it!
